comodo internet security è anche un HIPS, quindi ogni cosa che fa un applicazione (accesso allo schermo, cambio chiavi di registro,...) deve essere autorizzata da me prima. Quindi ho il pieno controllo del sistema, anche perchè un po' me ne intendo, e non è che do il via libera a tutto senza guardare...

sono sempre programmi in più che fanno poi quello che vogliono...
certo che ci sono virus e malaware anche per linux ma:
1) sono pochissimi
2) a differenza di windows dove per ragioni di marketing non vengono rilasciati aggiornamenti di sicurezza contro i virus (rendendo praticamente obbligatorio l'utilizzo di antivirus, antimalaware, anticazzi&mazzi) su linux gli aggiornamenti ci sono e anche frequenti. quindi pochi virus + sistema aggiornato (oltre a maggiore sicurezza dal punto di vista dell'esecuzione dei programmi) = no virus

sono sempre programmi in più che fanno poi quello che vogliono...
certo che ci sono virus e malaware anche per linux ma:

avere l'antivirus integrato nel sistema operativo o averne uno esterno è la stessa cosa...c'è sempre un processo di antivirus attivo. E anche avira è sempre aggiornato...
poi il migliore antivirus è l'utente, e non è un detto campato in aria...io non piglio virus da anni...

hai detto che ci sono aggiornamenti contro virus...
anche win da aggiornamenti contro falle e vulnerabilità...però se un codice dice di cancellare una cartella nel sistema non ci può fare molto...infatti ha introdotto l'uac. In linux come fa? Permessi anche li no? ma cosa vuol dire aggiornamenti contro virus?

classici aggiornamenti di sicurezza del sistema.
certo, anche windows li rilascia peccato che:
1) ci sono talmente tanti virus, trojan e compagnia bella in giro che non riescono a starci dietro con gli aggiornamenti
2) è più conveniente dire alla gente di comprare norton rilasciando poi con comodo un service pack per correggere eventuali falle
in linux chi utilizza il sistema è utente e basta, se vuoi installare nuovi programmi, eseguire determinati script, copiare/modificare/editare file di sistema, ecc devi essere admin e operi come admin solo in quelle situazioni. senza avere controlli invadenti come l'uac (che sfrantuma veramente i coglioni dopo 10 minuti)

i service pack non sono altro che tutti gli aggiornamenti in un botto solo, più qualche altra cagatina. Vedi in xp sp2, l'introduzione del firewall avanzato e il centro sicurezza, in vista sp2 ci sarà la nuova applicazione di connessione...
cmq all'uac ci si abitua...sono curioso di vedere l'uac di 7even, visto che dicono che è meno invadente..
